Why hello there, I'm Ross, creator of this site.
The site was created because all I have time to do now is play short games if I want to actually complete anything, and have been doing this for a good few years, so thought I would post some reviews up as I love to write as well, something I don't do much, so to kill two birds with one stone...
I have loved gaming since the Amiga 500 days, and have had pretty much every single system at one point in time. I really do. I used to have all the time in the world to play longer games, but life had got a hold of me, and apparently being a husband and father is more important. I kind of disagree, but still...
All reviews of the video games on my site you can finish in five hours or less, according to How Long To Beat website, and I only count the main story as ain't got time for pointless extras, as life itself is one big boss fight extra anyway, right?
I also wanted to keep the design of the blog very straight forward and user friendly, which I think it is, as too many sites are just clutter festivals and I actually dislike browsing most gaming sites these days.
This blog is for:
- Busy adults who still want to game without adding a new full-time job.
- Time-starved students who can’t risk one more academic casualty to an open-world RPG.
- Overstimulated humans looking for quick hits of joy, challenge, or existential dread (the fun kind).
- People who maybe feel overwhelmed with gaming a bit.
- Anyone tired of hearing “it gets good after the first 12 hours.”
I own an old PC (1060gb) so any reviews I make for PC games won't take much to run. I also own a Nintendo Switch Lite, Xbox 360 and PS4.
